
Routes
Depending on the chosen route that will be taken on the selected dates booked. There are many marine reserves of sea life in the Madeira Islands. Depending on location of the ship for the route we will reach one of the following marine reserves.
1- The Marine Reserve of Desert Islands
2- The Marine Reserve of Garajau
3- The Marine Reserve of Porto Santo Island
4- The Marine Reserve of Selvagem Islands
There is a vast amount of dive sites around the Islands that have been tried and approved by many of professional divers in the world.While diving in any of these areas it is appreciated it if all divers would respect the regulations that apply regarding the sea life on the reserves.
Itinerary
You will be collected at the Marina of Funchal. Departure will be 20.00 hrs, or as soon as all the clients are on board. Upon arrival you will be greeted by the captain and the crew. Later you will be given an envelope with all the relevant information you will need to know while you are aboard the boat. A guided tour of the boat will then be carried out. All clients are kindly requested to complete the questionnaire provide in the welcome envelope that will be collected upon your departure.
Arrival to our first diving destination will be at sunrise. On your arrival / departure day there is no lunch on board, only breakfast or dinner. Diving operations will start on Tuesday morning. End of the diving Sunday at midday.
The diving charter includes up to 4 dives a day starting from 09.00 A.M. until sunset. Night diving on request pending of the area and weather conditions.
On the Sunday afternoon due to your return flight back on the Monday and as safety condition for decompression there will not be any dives scheduled. This time can be used to go ashore and buy those last minute duty free items where applicable. A minimum of 24 hours between flying and the last dive is required for decompression. |
